Always perform a Cold Start before applying the hack below:
Power on your player whilst pressing hold both the Play and Stop buttons on the front player
After a short while you should be presented with a set of language options. Release the Play
and Stop buttons on the player
You will now need to select a language option between 1 and 6
Sansui DVX 2100
Turn on, eject DVD (leave open), press 2,9,1,8, or 2,8,1,2 then enter, and you are in
maintenance menu. Choose the region free option
Sanyo DVD-1500A, Sanyo DVD-5100, Sanyo DVD-6070, Sanyo
DVD-7201 and Other Sanyo Models
Press the Program button on your remote control, Right Cursor, Right Cursor, Enter and then
Play.
Sast AEP-803
Turn on player and press the open/close button to open the disc draw. With the disc draw open
enter the number "213" followed by the select key, move the highlight to the third line and
enter 13 for multi. To select specific region followed by the key 1-6 on the remote control.
Sast E810
Turn player on. Open disk drawer. Enter code 8421 on remote. Press "Enter" on remote until
"9" is displayed. Press "Play".
Scan SC-2000
OPEN, SETUP, x, 2, 0, 1, 0, STEP, SHUFFLE, NEXT. Where x is: 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2
… 9 for multi-region
Macrovision hack; SETUP, STEP, TITLE, PREV Then turn off player.
Scan SC-2500
Open Tray. Enter:0106 on the Remote Control then Enter:Region Number on the Remote
Control. (1=Region 1,2=Region 2,0=Multi-region none RCE etc ). OK will now appear on
screen.
Schaub Lorenz SL-D4000
Power on. Push open/close on the remote control. Type 3308; the player displays 'XXXX' on
the upper left corner. Wait until the Xs disappear. Enter the desired region, 0 means code-free.
Wait until the number disappears. Push open/close. Power off
Schneider HCS-500
Open the players drawer
Press Volume Up on your Remote
Press Fast Forward on your Remote
The on screen display will show 321 followed by the current Region code
Press Volume Up on your Remote
Press Fast Forward on your Remote
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until the desired Region code is shown on the display
Press and hold the Angle button on the Remote for approximately five seconds to select the
Region
