Note that this is 12 digits and the last digit will not show on the on-screen display Press the

The onscreen display should now show the words No Disc
Power off your DVD player, wait 10 seconds and then power back on
Philips DVD 724
Open the tray (using the OPEN/CLOSE button or holding down 1 on the remote), Press 1111
(slowly), Press 0.The display should show "region 0" (as spelt).
Philips DVD 730
Press PLAY and enter the code 274, 159. Your "player" should display ______ ______. Enter
the code 222 222 005 255 and press play. Your screen should go RED. Leave the red screen on
for 20 seconds. Turn the player off with the main power switch (NOT STANDBY!) and turn on
after 10 seconds.
Philips DVD 736K
Same as 724 model.
Philips DVD 750
Press the Play button on the player , then Press the 1 button on the remote control,
followed by 5 and then 9
Philips DVD-752
Send the infra-red code RC6 (aka Codeset 4, Key 235) to your player. You can do this with a
OneForAll remote such as the OneForAll 6 (or URC7560) or OneForAll 4 Digital with the
following instructions: Configure the Remote using the setup code 0539, Press the Magic
button, Enter the code 085

For region 1 press play and 159 then enter 005 000 128 156 and for region 2 press play and
159 then enter 013 000 128 156.
Philips DVD-950
Players set up for europe have different codes replace the 5000 and 2000 with 4000 and 3000
respectively, see below, the normal instructions. Effectively 2000,3000,4000,5000 all change
the codes from region 1 to region 2 but the output of the player changes. eg PAL NTSC RGB
