To convert this player to play a Region 1 disc:

Press Play, 2, 7 and 4 on the Remote Control. The onscreen display should then look like this:

Enter the following code using the Remote Controls number pad 005000 128 256.

Press the Play button on the Remote Control.

The onscreen display should turn red, indicating that your region settings have been changed.

Power on the unit with no disc. Press, "PAUSE" on the remote. Enter "3 1 4 1 5 9" on the

remote ("CODE 1" will be shown. "1" is the current region code). Press "0"

on the remote (0=AUTO, 1,2,...=set region). Press, "PAUSE" on the remote. Power the player

off, and then back on

Power on the unit. Press SETUP on the remote. Open the tray. Press code 8421 (the current

zone will be displayed on screen). Press SELECT on the remote until zone 9 be displayed on

screen. Close the tray.
