Press "set-up", "Pause/Still", Press "Prev", Press "Next". Then Select -->REGION then
-->BYPASS.
Philco PH-7100
Turn on the player
Press Eject on the Remote Control
Press 7, 4 followed by Enter
Key in the Country Code 1, 3 followed by Enter
Press Play
Put a DVD in the tray
Press Play
You may be able to select a specific Region by keying in the Region you desire, i.e. 1 for Region
1, 2 for Region 2 and so on, instead of using code 13.
Philco PH-9000
Same as the 5000 series
Philco 9100 and 7100
Turn on player, Press Eject on remote control. Press 7,4 + enter then region CODE: 1,3 +
enter. Press Play and Put a DVD in the tray. Press play
Philco PH-9200
Turn on player, Press Eject on remote control then Press 8421 or 1248 with region CODE: 9 for
multiregion. Press select and Put a DVD in the tray, Press play.
All Philips DVD Models

Philips DVD-170 Pro
Press the buttons Play, 2, 7 and 4 on the Remote Control. The onscreen display should look like
this: '____ ____' . If this does not work, press the buttons Play, 1, 5 and 9 on the Remote
Control. The onscreen display should look like this: '____ ____'.
Us the number keys on the Remote Control to enter the code 005000 128 256.
Press the Play button on the Remote Control.
The onscreen display should turn red, indicating that your region settings have been changed.
Philips DVD-570M
Send the infra-red code RC6 (aka Codeset 4, Key 235) to your player. You can do this with a
OneForAll remote such as the OneForAll 6 (or URC7560) or OneForAll 4 Digital with the
following instructions:
Configure the Remote using the setup code 0539
Press the Magic button, Enter the code 085, Press the OmniRemote key marked as 955
Multizone, The onscreen display should show 11 spaces like this: '-----------'
Using the number keys on your DVD player's Remote Control, enter the code 222 222 005 255.
Note that this is 12 digits and the last digit will not show on the on-screen display Press the
Play button on the DVD player's Remote, The onscreen display should now show the words No
Disc, Power off your DVD player, wait 10 seconds and then power back on
