to a menu to disable macrovision as well as making the machine Multiregion.

Switch power on then open tray and press 7,4 enter. A set-up screen will come up on screen,
go to the bottom one then press enter. Macrovision should then appear, press enter till a zero
appears, then press set-up to exit. Unfortunately you must do this every time you switch the
power off.
