3. The VCD Enable menu should then appear.
4. Press 1 on the remote control to enable VCD, or 2 to disable it.
5. Press Disc Eject button to remove the CD and finish the method.

1. Ensure there is no disc in the player's tray.

7. The hidden menu screen will appear.
8. Select 'Configuration 1".
9. Press OK.
10. Press 9.
12. Press Exit.
NB: You screen may become black and white now.
13. Enter the desired region code (1 to 6), or 0 for region free.
14. Select Display.
15. Go to PAL/NTSC option and change Display to NTSC.
