Ensure there is no disc in the players tray

Key in on the Remote Control 0, 0 and then Clear

You should see a message "AUTO" appear indicating that the machine is Region free

1. Press Open to open the tray.

2. Press Intro, 2, 0, 1 and 1.

3. Press 0 for region free (or region umber required).

4. Press Close and then play the disc.

Once you turn the machine off it reverts to the original setting.

Converting to Multi-Region if the above does not work:

1. Press Open.

2. Press Setup.

3. Press 1 3 6 9

4. Press < < <

5. Press >

6. version will open

7. Enter version and change region.

Setting stays after power off!

Power on the player and Open the tray.

Press 8, 1, 3, 2 and 8.

Press Enter until you highlight 9 (Multi-Region).

Press 5,5,3,2, Enter 8500

Choose menu "1", System messages to "ON"

Go back to service menu

Choose code "1" system information , enter code 70307196

Then you come to a menu called "system configurations"

choose "1" system messages with "ok"

You are now in "change data", Now you can choose from 1-8 or none. (regions)

none = region free, close with "i" on remote

Go to the service menu and set System configurations to "ON"

NOTE: Please note that this conversion may only work a maximum of 25 times!

Press the buttons Play, 2, 7 and 4 on your remote control. The onscreen display should look like this: '____ ____'.

Using the number keys on your remote control, enter the code 002000128156.

Press the Play button on your remote control.

The onscreen display should turn red, indicating that your region settings have been changed.

Then press Setup

Press the 9 button on the Remote Region Free, or 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on

Press the buttons 2, 0, 0 and then 0 on the Remote

Then press Step, Shuffle, and the Next button
