Power the player on. Open disc drawer.
Type in 0391 on handset then press Enter.
Scroll to select country.
Enter 9210 and press Enter.
Press Setup.

Open the tray then, Press set-up, stop, rew skip, FF skip.
Teac DV-1000
1. Turn the player on using the remote control.
2. Press Open button to open the disc tray.
3. Press 2, 1, 6, 8 on the remote.
4. The current region should now be displayed.
5. Press the Enter key to change the region. 9 is region free.
Timer/Counter functions MAY be lost.
Teac DV-2150
1. Turn the player on using the remote control.
2. Press Open button to open the disc tray.
3. Press 2, 1, 6, 8 on the remote.
4. The current region should now be displayed.
5. Press the Enter key to change the region. 9 is region free.

1. Turn the player on using the remote control.
2. Press Open button to open the disc tray.
3. Press 2, 1, 6, 8 on the remote.

Power on unit and open the tray using the remote.
(You must press buttons slow and deliberate. You should see an icon that is a circle and blue line through it, top left
corner of screen on each key press)
Press 0 5 2 0
then the up ^
Down v
Left <
Right > arrow keys, located around the enter/ok key.
Close tray.
”Region Free” should appear on the screen.
Repeat the above process to Lock region back again
