Converting this player to Multi-Region (newer firmware):
Open the player's tray.
Press 2, 0, 0, 1.
Press Enter (or Play).
The secret menu can then be accessed.
Use the directional arrows to make your region selection.
Converting this player to Multi-Region (older firmware):
Ensure the player's tray is closed and has no disc in it.
Press 7, 7.
Select (or Enter).
The secret menu can then be accessed.
Scroll to Region Code, Change this to 13 for region free.
On the second page of this menu, Macrovision can be disabled by changing the 0 to a 1 (by pressing 0/10). Other info,
such as firmware is also displayed.
