Press 9, 9, 9, 9 on the remote.
You should now be in the hidden region menu.
Press Ok to change region code. Region 9 is region free.
Close the player's tray.

To change region code, or make the machine multi-region follow these steps:
Open the drive tray
Key in using the Remote 8926# (where # = Region number i.e. 1, 2, 4 etc. 0 = multi region and no Macrovision)
Skyworth DVD-750
Open the tray.
Press 8, 9, 2, 6 on the remote control (xxxx will appear on the top left hand corner of the screen).
Press 0 for all regions and no Macrovision (or Press 1, 2, 3 etc for a specific region).
Close the tray.
Converting this player to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
Open the tray.
Press 3, 3, 0, 8 on the remote control (xxxx will appear on the top left hand corner of the screen).
Press 0 for all regions and no Macrovision (or Press 1, 2, 3 etc for a specific region).
Close the tray.
Slimline-2 Generic brand DVD
Turn on the player and open the disk tray.
Press Setup on the remote.
Press Next, Prev, Next, Prev.
Now the menu disapears and in the right corner there is displayed VER 3 (or whatever number).
Change the VER to whatever region number you want or use 255 for region-free, using right and left arrow keys.
Press Down arrow until VER changes to 3001. Change it to 3000 for User Prohibitions off.
Press Down arrow until VER changes to 4001. Change it to 4000 for Macrovision off.
Now Press on the down arrow key on your remote till VER changes into 5001. Change that in 5000 by pressing the
left arrow key. Now your DVD player can play VCD and SVCD.
Converting this player to Multi-Region if the above does not work:
Ensure the player tray is empty, and closed.
Press Setup to display the setup menu.
Press Next, Prev, Next, Prev.
VER 3 (or whatever number) is displayed.
Using left and right arrow keys select the required region, VER 1 for region 1, VER 2 for region 2 etc. or VER 255
for region free.
Press Setup to save the change and return to the setup menu.
Press Setup again to exit setup mode.

Converting this player to Multi-Region (newer firmware):
1. Empty Tray.
2. Press Setup on Remote.
3. Press Next.
4. Press Prev.
5. Press Next.
6. Press Prev.
7. On Right Upper Corner will be written Ver#.
