Scan SC-2500
Open Tray. Enter:0106 on the Remote Control then Enter:Region Number on the Remote Control. (1=Region
1,2=Region 2,0=Multi-region none RCE etc ). OK will now appear on screen.
Schaub Lorenz SL-2000
1. Power on the player.
2. Press Open to open the tray.
3. Press Setup to enter the setup menu,
4. Press 4, 9, 5, 4, 0 on remote control in turn, ( press the keys rapidly ).
5. You should see a new menu item.
6. Select VERSION and then Press Play.
7. Select REGION CODE.
8. Press > and change the region code with up/down buttons. 0 is multi region.
9. Press Setup to confirm.
10. You can change the VCD setting from same menu.
Schaub Lorenz SL-2001
1. Power on the player.
2. Press Open to open the tray.
3. Press Setup to enter the setup menu,

2. Press Open/Close on the remote control.
3. Put the player in DVD mode.
4. Press 1, 1, 1, 1.
5. Press required region number.
Converting this player to Multi-Region if the above fails:
1. Power on the player.
2. Press Open/Close on the remote control.
3. Type 3, 3, 0, 8 - the player displays 'XXXX' on the upper left corner. Wait until the Xs disappear.
4. Enter the desired region, 0 means region free. Wait until the the number disappears.
5. Press Open/Close on the remote control.
6. Power off.

1. Power on the player.
2. Press Open/Close on the remote control.
3. Type 3, 3, 0, 8 - the player displays 'XXXX' on the upper left corner. Wait until the Xs disappear.
4. Enter the desired region, 0 means region free. Wait until the the number disappears.
5. Press Open/Close on the remote control.
6. Power off.
