1. Power on the player with no disc in the drive.
2. Press Pause, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5 and 9 on the remote
3. The word COde appears on the DVD display for a few seconds.
4. Enter region code required on remote (before COde disappears), using 0 for region free if needed.
5. Press Pause on the remote control.
6. Power the player off and then back on.
7. Keep trying with the setup as this may take a few attempts to work.

1. Press Setup on the remote.
2. Select 'TV Aspect'.
3. Place cursor on '16:9 wide'.
4. Using the remote control, key in the following: 1, 3, 9, 7, 1, 3, 9.
5. Press Enter on the remote control.
