For system info make sure no disc in tray, power on and press play several times.

Converting this player to Multi-Region (newer firmware - After October 2001):
1. Just power on the player, make sure no disc is inserted.
2. Using remote Press 0, 1, 0, 6, x, Where x = region (So 01061 is region 1, 01062 is region 2).
3. 01060 is region free !
Converting this player to Multi-Region (older firmware - Up to October 2001):
1. Just power on the player, make sure no disc is inserted.
2. Using remote Press : 0, 1, 0, 8, x, Where x = region. (So 01081 is region 1, 01082 is region 2).
3. 01080 is region free !
Amoisonic DVD-8506F
Power on the DVD Player
Open the Player tray and leave it open
Make sure no disc is inserted
Key in on the Remote Control 0108x.
Where x = the Region.
So 01081 is Region 1, 01082 is Region 2. and 01080 is Region free!
AMW V120
1. ensure the player tray is empty.
2. Using remote, Press Setup, Mute, Stop, Zoom.
3. The upper left of the screen display should read "SET AS ALL REGIONS".
4. Changes will not be reset after you power off.
Apex AD-50
1. Open the player's tray.
2. Press 8, 4, 2, 1 using the remote.
3. A hidden menu will appear.
NB: You may need to put a DVD into the player and then perform part 2 of the setup. The player may flash "wrong
region code" before playing.
Converting to Multi-Region if the above fails:
1. Put the region 2 DVD into the player (this player is generally R1 by default).
2. Wait for the "Regional Code Violation" message to disappear.
3. Press 2 on the remote control.
4. The player will say "Wrong Region Code", then start the movie at a random point.
5. Press Menu on the remote control, then the message disappears.
