Set COUNTRY CODE: 13 then press Enter.

How to Disable Macrovison:
Turn the player on.

Press 7, 7, Enter (Some Remotes use the "Select" key).
Go to next page.
Set MACROVISION: 0.

Key in the Country Code 1, 3 followed by Enter
Press Play
Put a DVD in the tray

You may be able to select a specific Region by keying in the Region you desire,
i.e. 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2 and so on, instead of using code 13.
Philco PH-9200
Turn on player, Press Eject on remote control then Press 8421 or 1248 with region CODE: 9 for multiregion. Press
select and Put a DVD in the tray, Press play.

NOTE: Many of these players listed here MAY have a maximum region change limit of 25 times. After 25
changes, the player could be locked in the last region changed to. Some of these have a setup that apparently
may reset the reset counter (thus basically making it unlimited), but this has not been confirmed!
Philips DFR-1600
1. Press System on the Remote Control.
2. Press 1, 6 and 7.
3. A box will appear requesting a new Region be entered
4. Press Mute for region free (or press desired region number).
Philips DVD-170
You will need a One-4-All universal remote for this (Send the infra-red code RC6 (aka Codeset 4, Key 235)):
1. Set up the remote with the code 0, 5, 3, 9.
2. Press the MAGIC button.
3. Press 085. The display should read '----'
4. Enter the following with the normal Marantz remote: 222 222 005 255.
5. Press Enter.
6. The player should now be region-free.
To change to a specific region:
1. Set up the remote with the code 0, 5, 3, 9.
2. Press the MAGIC button.
3. Press 085. The display should read '----'
4. Enter the following with the normal Marantz remote: 222 222 005 00, followed by the region number required.
