7. Insert DVD, press Play.
NB: Region setting is preserved after power down.
NOTE: This only works with models that have the serial number starting with HE112.
1. Press Open/Close.
2. Press Setup.
3. Press 1, 3, 6 and 9
4. Press Left Arrow 3 times (the menu navigation arrow, not |<< or << ).
5. Press Right Arrow 1 time (the menu navigation arrow, not >>| or >> ).
6. Go to version and change the region to 0 for region free.
Some models may only display a Preferences menu, where you can change TV type, but no region facility.
Norcent DP-1600
NOTE: This only works with models that have the serial number starting with HE113.
1. Turn the power on.
2. Press Open/Close.
3. Press 8, 8, 8 and 8.
4. Press Setup.
5. Press Next.
6. The "Factory Control Page" appears, or something similar.
7. Select ALL for region free, or the region number required.

4. Key in the number of the region required, or use 9 for region free.
5. Close the player's tray to finish.
