To enable RCE discs to play:
1. Press Open/Close button on your remote control.
2. Press Setup.
3. Go to the Custom setup Menu.
4. Press 3, 3, 3, 3 on the remote control.
5. Enter region number of the disk with the RCE protection.
NB: If you use region 0, then RCE discs will play regardless apparently.

1. Press Open/Close button on your remote control.
2. Press Setup.
3. Press 0 for region free (or press desired region number).
4. Press Pause.
5. Press Step Back.
6. Press Step Forward.
7. Press Setup.

The Medion DVD Player is based on the STi5505 DVD Decoding Chip from ST-Microeletronics
Use the Remote Control:
1. Press Power (to put it in standby).
2. Press Power (turn it on).
3. Press Menu.
4. Press 9.
5. Press Open/Close.
6. Press 5.
7. You should be in a service menu where you can change to the desired region (1 to 6).

3. Open drive tray.
4. Press 8.
5. Press 9.

8. Press 9 for region free (or choose region 1 to 6).

11. Insert the disc and close the drive tray

1. Press Open/Close button on your remote control.
2. Press Clear.
3. Press 1.

7. Press 0 for region free (or press desired region number).
8. Turn player off and on.
