6. Press Setup to clear the information once read.

Press "Menu" on the Remote Control
Then press "1"
Then press "6"
Then press "7"
Then press "Mute"
Note: it MAY not be necessary to press "Menu" at step 2.
So if it doesn't work pressing this try the setup skipping step 2.
Limit DVD-8070
1. Power on the player.
2. Press Open/Close.
3. Press 8, 4, 2 and 1 on the remote.
4. The current Region will be displayed.
5. Press 'OK' repeatedly until Region code shows 9, for region free.
6. Press Open/Close button again to complete the change.
Limit DVD-8072
1. Power on the player.
2. Press Open/Close.
3. Press 8, 4, 2 and 1 on the remote.
4. The current Region will be displayed.
5. Press 'OK' repeatedly until Region code shows 9, for region free.
6. Press Open/Close button again to complete the change.

1. Close the DVD tray
2. Press 8,9,2,3,9,9,9 and 0 for region free.
3. Press 8,9,2,3,6,6,6 and 1 to enable VCD playback.
