1 Important Safety • • • • • • • Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. The product shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. Do not place any sources of danger on the product (e.g. liquid filled objects, lighted candles). Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
Hearing safety Listen at a moderate volume. • Using headphones at a high volume can impair your hearing. This product can produce sounds in decibel ranges that may cause hearing loss for a normal person, even for exposure less than a minute. The higher decibel ranges are offered for those that may have already experienced some hearing loss. • Sound can be deceiving. Over time your hearing 'comfort level' adapts to higher volumes of sound.
Environmental information All unnecessary packaging has been omitted. We have tried to make the packaging easy to separate into three materials: cardboard (box), polystyrene foam (buffer) and polyethylene (bags, protective foam sheet.) 3 Get started Always follow the instructions in this chapter in sequence. Power supply Either AC power or battery can be used as power supply of this product. AC power Use the shoulder strap A shoulder strap is provided for carrying this product. Follow the illustration to attach the shoulder strap to each end of the product. Warning •• Risk of product damage! Make sure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the product.

Set cue point A cue point is a marker at a precise time in the duration of a track. Cue point of a track can be set with djay 2 on each deck. Note •• Load a track first before you set the cue point. 1 2 3 During music playback, choose a start point you want to set. Press to set the cue point. »» The cue point is displayed as a white dot on the visual waveform of the track or on the turntable in djay 2. »» The Press point. Note •• Press and hold to clear the cue point.
Adjust the cross fader Slide the cross fader to adjust the output balance between the tracks playing on the two turntables. When the cross fader is slid to the left: • The track on turntable 1 is played through the micro system. • The 2 lights and the track on turntable 2 is played through the headphones. When the cross fader is slid to the right: Joge mode Press JOGE MODEto switch between scratch mode and search mode. Scratch mode • • The track on turntable 2 is played via the micro system.
• Rotate the outer area of the turntable to change the tempo of the track. Record the mixed tracks Press to record the the mixed track, press again to stop recording. You can check the recorded tracks by tapping on djay 2. • Touch the inner area of the turntable to pause the playback. Search mode In search mode, you can rotate the turntable to fast forward or rewind the track.
5 Play from Bluetoothenabled devices With this product, you can listen to audio from Bluetooth-enabled devices. Connect a device 3 Press on the top panel and the Bluetooth indicator blinks blue. Note •• Make sure that your Bluetooth device is compatible with this product. •• Before pairing a device with this product, read its user manual for Bluetooth compatibility. •• The product can memorize a maximum of 8 paired devices.
Play from Bluetooth device After successful Bluetooth connection, play audio on the Bluetooth device. »» Audio streams from your Bluetooth device to the product.
6 Play from iPod/ iPhone/iPad You can enjoy audio from iPod/iPhone/iPad through this product. Listen to the iPod/iPhone/ iPad 1 2 Connect the iPod/iPhone/iPad with the device through the Lightning connector. Play music on iPod/iPhone/iPad. Charge the iPod/iPhone/iPad Once connected, the iPod/iPhone/iPad begins to charge.
7 Other features Adjust volume Rotate HEADPHONE VOL. to adjust the volume of the headphones. Rotate MASTER VOL. to adjust the volume of the speakers. Play from an external device With this DJ sound system, you can also enjoy audio from an external device such as an MP3 player.
