ENG 2010.5.4 10:05 Page 6 Basic Operation/Radio CD Player Basic operation Playing a CD 1 To select your sound source, adjust the source selector to: TUNER, AUX, CD, iPod, or OFF. This CD player plays Audio Discs including CD-Recordables and CD-Rewritable. 2 To switch off the set, adjust the source selector to OFF position and check the cassette keys are released. Helpful hints: In tuner mode, if you connect a 3.5 mm aux-in cable, the source changes to AUX automatically.

You may store up to 20 tracks in the desired sequence. If you like, store any track more than once. 2 3 Different play mode In the stop position, press PROG to activate programming. ➜ Display: PROG and 00 flash (see 5).
ENG 2010.5.4 10:05 Page 8 iPod Dock Compatible iPod players • The docking entertainment system is compatible with all the existing Apple iPod models with 30-pin connector: iPod touch (8GB, 16GB), iPod classic (80GB, 160GB), iPod video (30GB, 60GB, 80GB), and iPod nano generation 1 to 3. Playing an iPod portable player 1 • 2 3 Correctly dock your iPod portable player in the cradle. Make sure the dock adapter is compatible.
ENG 2010.5.4 10:05 Page 9 Maintenance & Safety (See 6) CD player and CD handling • If the CD player cannot read CDs correctly, use a cleaning CD to clean the lens before taking the set to repair. • The lens of the CD player should never be touched! • Safety information • Place the set on a hard, flat and stable surface so that the system does not tilt. • Do not expose the set, batteries, CDs to humidity, rain, sand or excessive heat caused by heating equipment or direct sunlight.
