Prepare the remote control
For the rst time use
Pull the protective sheet out.
» The remote control is ready for use.
Replace the battery
Caution
•
Risk of explosion! Keep batteries away from heat,
sunshine or re. Never discard batteries in re.
Note
•
Remove the battery if it is exhausted or if the remote
control is not to be used for a long time.
• Batteries contain chemical substances, they should be
disposed of properly.
• Perchlorate Material - special handling may apply. See
www.dtsc.ca.gov/hazardouswaste/perchlorate.
1 Pull out the battery tray.
2 Insert one CR2025 battery with correct
polarity (+/-) as indicated.
3 Insert the battery tray.
For the rst time use

Press to power on the system.
» [WELCOME] (Welcome) is displayed
and then [SELECT OPERATING
REGION] (select a radio region)
scrolls.
2 When one of the following options is
displayed, rotate
to select a radio
region that matches your location.
• [AREA LAT] (Latin America)
• [AREA USA] (United States)
• [AREA EUR] (Western Europe)
• [AREA RUS] (Russia)
• [AREA EAS] (Middle East)
• [AREA ASI] (Asia Pacic)
• [AREA JAP] (Japan)
• [AREA AUS] (Australia)
3 Press to conrm.
» The system switches to radio mode
automatically.
• To power off the system, press and
hold
until the screen backlight
is off.
Set the time format

Press and hold to access the system
menu.
2 Press / repeatedly until
[CLK FORMAT] is displayed.
3 Rotate to select [CLK 24H] or
[CLK 12H].
• [CLK 24H]: 24-hour time format
• [CLK 12H]: 12-hour time format
