Important Battery Information Charging And Discharging The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times but it will eventually wear out. When the operating time (talk time and standby time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time to replace the battery. Recharge your battery only with the charger approved by the manufacturer. When a charger is not in use for a prolonged period of time, disconnect it from the power source.
Important Battery Information Note Use the battery only for its intended purpose. Never use any charger or battery which is damaged or worn out. Leaving the battery in hot or cold places will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. Always try to keep the battery between 150C and 250C. A phone with a hot or cold battery may temporarily not work, even when the battery is fully charged. Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations. Recycle ! Adding Subscriptions Ask your communications manager for a PIN (Personal Identification Number) code. You must enter the PIN within 16 minutes, after this time the subscription period expires. The handset stores the subscription information from the DECT system in a nonvolatile memory. A handset can simultaneously be subscribed to 4 DECT systems. Repeat this procedure 1.. 4 times if necessary. To make and receive calls you must be subscribed to a DECT system.

Problem You can't call, handset shows antenna icon. You can't call. Reason > Solution •You are out of range of DECT system. > Move in range. • You have just ended another call. > Wait 1 second and try again. A short busy tone is heard when trying to make a call. • Handset is not subscribed. Handset shows battery icon. • The battery is low. Handset shows Antenna icon only. > Subscribe the handset (see: "Subscribing a new handset"). > The battery must be charged (See: "Charging the battery").
