Qdeo™ video processing technology

TI Burr-Brown DACs
TI Burr-Brown is a well-known brand
synonymous with high performance and
quality, and it specialises in producing
audiophile-quality Hi-Fi components, like
Digital to Analogue Converters (DACs).
Philips trusts and chooses TI Burr-Brown
DACs, which convert digital audio signals into
analogue audio signals using 192 KHz sampling
rate with 24-bit resolution. Hence, more
information is captured from the original
analogue sound wave form, resulting in much
richer sound performance.
Toroidal power supply
The toroidal power supply is a ring-shaped
core power transformer. A separate toroidal
transformer and a linear power supply make
sure there is a stable and noiseless power
source dedicated to analogue audio signals.
This design can avoid any digital noise coupling
compared to the usual design that has both the
digital video and analogue audio signal sharing
the same power supply. The result is a clean
sound with little noise.

the playback of DivX Plus content (H.264 HD
video with high-quality AAC audio in an MKV
file container) while also supporting previous
versions of DivX video up to 1080p. DivX Plus
HD for true HD digital video.
EasyLink
EasyLink lets you control multiple devices like
DVD players, Blu-ray players, soundbar
speakers, Home theatre systems and TVs etc.
with one remote. It uses HDMI CEC industry-
standard protocol to share functionality
between devices through the HDMI cable.
With one touch of a button, you can operate
all your connected HDMI CEC-enabled
equipment simultaneously. Functions like
standby and play can now be carried out with
absolute ease.
Wi-Fi-n
Wi-Fi-n, also known as IEEE 802.11n, is the
new wireless network standard. It includes
many new options to improve the quality of
the wireless link, offering faster speed and
wider range compared to previous Wi-Fi
standards. Wi-Fi-n also features backwards
compatibility, which makes it possible for this
player to transmit to and receive from routers
that operate on older Wi-Fi standards.
