3. STORING TV CHANNELS In order to be able to record TV programmed, you first have to store each TV channel {for example, "NED 1} in the video recorder. You can store channels. Because your video recorder has its own receiver, it can be used independently of the TV set. You can use the following manual method to tune to these channels. Switch the TV set on. Select the programmer number desired for playback on the video recorder. © Press the button, The last selected programmer position, for example “P 08 TUNER”, appears in the recorder display.
@ After they have been entered, most channel numbers are converted into a channel name (for example, BBC). For instance, "NEEDED, "MAN" and "VP” appear in the display of the video recorder. NED? After insertion of a standard hour cassette into the video recorder and selection of a tape run function (“PLAYBACK", for example), the recorder automatically measures the tape length (with the exception of E300 cassettes). The length of the tape appears briefly in the display on the video recorder (for instance, "CASSETTE E180").
