4 Connections 4.1 Tips on Connections Connectivity Guide EasyLink HDMI CEC Always connect a device to the TV with the highest quality connection available. Also, use good quality cables to ensure a good transfer of picture and sound. If your devices are connected with HDMI and have EasyLink, you can operate them with the TV remote control. EasyLink HDMI CEC must be switched On on the TV and the connected device.
DVI to HDMI If you still own a device that only has a DVI connection, you can connect the device to any of the HDMI connection with a DVI to HDMI adapter. Connect the audio L/R cable to the AUDIO IN connector (minijack 3.5mm). Audio Out - Optical Audio Out - Optical is a high quality sound connection. This optical connection can carry 5.1 audio channels.

EasyLink Remote Control If you want devices to communicate but you don't want to operate them with the TV remote control, you can switch off EasyLink remote control separately. In the EasyLink settings menu, select EasyLink Remote Control and select Off. EasyLink setup 4.3 The TV comes with EasyLink switched on. Make sure that all HDMI CEC settings are properly set up on the connected EasyLink devices.

Problems with HTS sound Audio Out Offset If you cannot set a delay on the Home Theatre System, you can set the TV to sync the sound. You can set an offset that compensates for the time necessary for the Home Theatre System to process the sound of the TV picture. You can set the value in steps of 5ms. Maximum setting is -60ms. Sound with loud noise If you watch a video from a plugged in USB flash drive or connected computer, the sound from your Home Theatre System might be distorted.
If the DVD player is connected with HDMI and has EasyLink CEC, you can operate the player with the TV remote control. For more information on EasyLink, press the colour key Keywords and look up EasyLink HDMI CEC. 4.9 Game Console HDMI For best quality, connect the game console with a High speed HDMI cable to the TV. 4.10 Gamepad Connect a Gamepad To play games from the Internet on this TV, you can connect a selected range of wireless Gamepads. Trouble with Interference To solve possible interference with other wireless devices on TV… • Use a USB extension cord and move the nano receiver about 1 meter away from the TV. • Alternatively, you can use a powered USB hub connected to the TV and plug in the nano receivers in the USB hub. Warning 4.11 The USB Hard Drive is formatted exclusively for this TV, you cannot use the stored recordings on another TV or PC. Do not copy or change recording files on the USB Hard Drive with any PC application.

If the contents list does not appear automatically, press SOURCES, and click USB. Your camera might need to be set to transfer its content with PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol). 1 - Position the subwoofer within a distance of 5 meter from the TV and connect it to the mains power. You can pair up to 10 wireless speakers but you can only play sound on 1 subwoofer or sound bar at a time. Position the wireless speaker within a distance of 5 meters from the TV. 5 5.3 Switching On and Off Keys on TV If you lost the remote control or its batteries are empty, you can still do some basic TV operations. 5.1 On, Standby or Off To open the basic menu… 1 - With the TV switched on, press the joystick key on the back of the TV to bring up the basic menu. 2 - Press left or right to select Volume, Channel or Sources. If the TV is in Shop location, you can also select Camera. 3 - Press up or down to adjust the volume or tune to the next or previous channel.

To get these personalised recommendations, you must agree to the Personal Recommendations Consent in the Terms of Use.

18 18.3 Videos, Photos and Music From a Mobile Device About Wi-Fi Miracast You can view your photos or play your music and videos from a mobile device with Wi-Fi Miracast™. 18.1 From a USB Connection Your TV is a Wi-Fi Certified Miracast™ device. With Miracast™, you can watch and share the screen of your smartphone, tablet or computer on your TV screen wirelessly. You can stream videos (audio and video), share photos or anything else that's on screen of the device.
You might find the Wi-Fi connection (e.g. 'DIRECT_tvname') also in lists of available networks on other network devices, e.g. your laptop computer. However, this connection can only be used by Wi-Fi Miracast devices. 18.4 Stop Sharing How to open a list of media files on TV depends on the type of device where the files are stored. You can stop sharing a screen from the TV or from the mobile device. To play a video, click on the file name of the video in the List of Media files.

When you're done, click Search Skype. 3 - Skype will search for the contact you are looking for and will show the search results. 4 - Click on the contact you want and select Add contact. 5 - Write the request and click Send. Skype will send the request message to your new contact.
3 - To end the call, click End call. Phone numbers can't be blocked. They can only be removed from your contact list. A contact can add you to a Voice call with more than one participant. You cannot add an extra participant yourself. What You Need Hue Bridge With Ambilight+hue, you can set up your Philips Hue lamps to follow the Ambilight colours of the TV. The Philips Hue lamps will expand the Ambilight effect across the room. If you don’t have any Philips Hue lamps yet, buy the Philips Hue Starter Kit (includes a Hue Bridge and 3 Hue bulbs) and install the bulbs and Bridge. You can buy extra Philips Hue bulbs separately.
