The Apache Portable Runtime Library provides a
predictable and
consistent interface to underlying platform-specific
implementations, with an API to which software
developers may code
and be assured of predictable if not identical behavior
regardless
of the platform on which their software is built,
relieving them of
the need to code special-case conditions to work
around or take
advantage of platform-specific deficiencies or
features.

busybox (1.31.1)
BusyBox combines tiny versions of many common
UNIX utilities into a single small executable. It
provides replacements for most of the utilities you
usually find in GNU fileutils, shellutils, etc. The utilities
in BusyBox generally have fewer options than their
full-featured GNU cousins; however, the options that
are included provide the expected functionality and
behave very much like their GNU counterparts.
BusyBox provides a fairly complete environment for
any small or embedded system.
