Record
To record S-VHS quality, connect an S-VHS peripheral directly to the VCR.
Record a TV program
You can record a TV program using your VCR’s tuner without affecting your
TV.
& Select the channel number on your VCR.
é Set your VCR to record.
See the handbook for your VCR.
Switching channel numbers on your TV does not disturb recording !
Record to VCR from
MONITOR OUT
You can record a program on your VCR connected to MONITOR OUT from
Audio/Video equipment connected to
AV1, AV2, AV3 or to sockets on the
right side of the TV.
& Switch on the equipment.
é Select the right external on your TV and on your VCR.
“ Set your VCR to record.
You record what you are watching on the screen.
Do not switch channels or switch off your TV when you are recording through
MONITOR OUT.
VCR Plus+
®
system
The VCR Plus+
®
system works with the GUIDE Plus+ system schedule
information to set VCR recordings.
This system relies on code numbers listed in your local TV Guide, or
programming information printed in your local newspaper.
Programs are given PlusCode programming numbers and are printed next to
the program listings.The PlusCode programming number is required to
properly setup your VCR for a VCR Plus+ system recording.
& Press the VCR
+
button on the remote control.
The GUIDE Plus+ Schedule display panel appears.
é Enter the PlusCode programming number for the show you wish to record
or press the
VCR+ button again to cancel.
Use the digit buttons on the remote to enter the PlusCode.
“ Press the OK button to set the VCR Plus+ system timer recording.
‘ Press the green button on the remote to change the record frequency: once,
daily or weekly.
Press the blue button on the remote to remove the VCR Plus+ system timer
recording from the Schedule.
Record with your VCR
Enter Pluscode: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Enter show's Pluscode to schedule a show for
recording or press the VCR+ key again to cancel.
