ance of your TV, depending on

button until Advanced Settings is
highlighted. Then press the CUR-
SOR RIGHT button to enter the
Advanced Settings options area.
Press the CURSOR DOWN or
up button to highlight an option.
Then press the OK button to select
the option. A “•” in a circle or a
” in a square means that a set-

MENU/SELECT button. To clear
the screen, press the STATUS/EXIT
button.
Functions of the SOUND menu Advanced Settings when turned on:
“Stereo” allows stereo sound.
“Mono” allows monaural sound.
“Second Audio Program” allows for an additional audio channel that may be
provided during a broadcast. Such an audio channel usually carries a second lan-
guage translation for the displayed program).
“Speakers” can be used when first setting up external speakers or if you prefer to
use only speakers from a separate stereo system.
“Auto Noise Cancel” eliminates the noise between stations. If a channel is tuned
and is noisy, this option will automatically eliminate the audio for that channel.
“Loudness” improves the quality of both low- and high-frequency sounds when
listening at low volume levels.
“AVL (Audio Volume Leveler)” automatically adjusts volume so that each chan-
nel has the same average volume level.
