se the TV Ratings lock to
prevent the viewing of any
program that you feel may be
inappropriate because of its con-
tent. With the Canadian Ratings
(Eng [English]) lock, you can
block various types of movies and
television programs used in
Canada that you deem in appro-
priate. Likewise, prevent the view-
ing of Canadian French programs
according to various program rat-
ings using the Canadian (Frn
[French]) options.
FEATURES MENU
With the FEATURES menu on
the TV screen, Press the CURSOR
DOWN button repeatedly until
AutoLock is highlighted.
Press the CURSOR RIGHT
button to enter the AutoLock
options area. Then press the NUM-
BER buttons to enter the Access
Code (see pages 12 and 14).
Press the CURSOR DOWN
button until TV Ratings is high-
lighted. Then press the CURSOR
RIGHT button to enter the settings
area.
Press the CURSOR DOWN
and UP buttons to move among the
rating options. Then press the OK
button (center of ring) to either
BLOCK or allow viewing (VIEW).
To return to the main
AutoLock options area, press the
CURSOR LEFT button. To go to
the Menu Bar, press
MENU/SELECT. To clear the
screen, press the STATUS/EXIT
button.
Block programming according to
Canadian Ratings (English or
French) similarly to the steps just
given above. Enter either of the
Canadian settings areas and select
BLOCK as desired.
NOTE: When anyone attempts to watch a rated program
blocked by the TV Ratings or Canadian Ratings settings,
“Rating Blocked” will be displayed. You must go to the
appropriate settings area and change the setting to allow
viewing.
