Using the Remote Control
y;u can use the AutoSound TM options to
utomatically tailor the TV's sound /or
the t2pe of program you are watching, The
/actol T has set the VOICE, MUSIC', and
THEATRE options. 77wsettings /br the PER-
SONAL option are the ones you select
through the onscreen SOUND submenu. See
descriptions of the options below; right.
Press the SOUND button on the
remote control. The current
AutoSound TM setting will appear on
screen, Press the SOUND button
repeatedly to cycle through the four
options: PERSONAL, VOICE,
MUSIC, or THEATRE,

When you see the option you want
on the screen, press the
STATUS/EXIT button to exit the
menu. The AutoSound TM option you
selecled is then active,
• AuloSound TM works only with the pro-
grams coming through the ANTENNA
IN 75f2 jack on the rear of the TV,
Au{oSound TM will not control the sound
levels of the other jacks on the rear or
side of the TV,
• If you select an AutoSound'_M option
other than PERSONAL, then the TRE-
BLE and BASS se_tings specific to that
option will also be written _o the
SOUND submenu i_ems. At that point,
the PERSONAL AuloSound TM option
se_tings will not be changed, Only when
you go into the SOUND submenu and
change the TREBLE and BASS se_tings
will those settings be reflected in the
PERSONAL AutoSound TM option.

PERSONAL presents the TV's sound
according to the TREBLE and BASS set-
tings you make within the SOUND sub-
menu,
VOICE brings xoices to the forefront and
emphasizes them. Moxes music to the
background.
MUSIC emphasizes music over voices,
THEATRE provides a balance between
xoices and music,
