To use your phone, you must insert a valid SIM card supplied by your GSM
operator or retailer. The SIM card contains your subscription, your mobile
number, and a memory in which you can store phone numbers and messages
(see “Phonebooks” page 36).

1 Press on the battery clip and slide the battery cover downwards.

Make sure the phone is switched off before removing the battery.
2 Remove the battery by pressing the inner clips one after the other, then
pulling the battery from the left handside.
