Sound - Setting the Audio Out Control Jf ym have connected the TV’s lAUDIO OUTPUT jacks to Oie A UDIO INPUT jacks on a stereo receiver, set AUDIO OUT to either VARIABLE or FIXED to determine whether you adjust the volume at the stereo or at the TV. If you select VARIABLE, change the vol ume at the TV using the TV’s remote control. If you select FIXED, adjust the volume at the stereo using the stereo’s controls. To select FDCED or VARIABLE, follow these steps.

Remote Control - Using Channel Surf A list or series of previously .¿Í viewed channels can be select ed with the SURF button on your remote control. With this feature, you can easily switch between dif ferent TV channels that currently interest you. The SURF control allows you to set up to ten channels in its quick viewing list. Press the CHANNEL{+) or (-) button (or the numbered buttons) to select a channel to add to the SURF list. Press the SURF button on the remote control.

This system works with your local “TV Guide " or program ming information printed in a special magazine or your local newspaper. The broadca.sters have listed a multiple digit num ber next to the program listing. This is the PlusCode number needed to setup the recording. Please note that a VCR is required to use this system.
PIP - Basic Connections Tycture-In-Picture (PIP) is the £ showing of two pictures on the TV screen at the same time (one main screen picture and one small picture, or PIP). For your ease and convenience, this TV has two sepa rate inputs (ANTenna A and PIP ANTenna B) for your home’s Antenna and/or Cable TV system signal. The ANT A input is primarily for the TV’s main screen picture. 'The PIP ANT B input is provided as a second dedicated source option for the TV’s PIP “window” and its feature opera tions.
