1 Chapter I N T R O D U C T I O N Introduction Thank you very much for buying this video magnifier. We have gone to great lengths to create a qualitative and user-friendly device and we hopeyout will be able to use it for years to come.
I N T R O D U C T I O N Warning The screen is to be assembled and disassembled by authorized persons exclusively. Non-compliance can cause severe damage. Power cord You need a power cord to feed the device. SCART connector (EasyViewer, Silver) You need a scart connector to connect the video magnifier to the screen. HDMI-HDMI or HDMI-DVI connector (EasyViewer, Silver, Quartz HD) You need a HDMI-HDMI of HMDI –DVI connector to connect the video magnifier to the screen.

It contains all necessary information about your device. Keep the device in a dry, well-vented and clean spot. Do not place the device in direct sunlight or next to a source of heat. Never use this device in ambient temperatures higher than 35°C. The design of the inputs allows for them to be used in one way exclusively.

The video magnifier must not be picked up by the screen, the type panel, the light shades or the slide table. Warning The screen is to be assembled and disassembled by authorized persons exclusively. F I R S T - T I M E 3 Chapter U S E First-time use You need to go through the following steps to use the video magnifier for the first time: Connect cables Set screen Check wether the device works Connecting cables Audio: Jack for a headphone or external speakers. This jack is also used when the screen has a DVI jack. SCART (EasyViewer, Silver): Input for SCART connector to the video magnifier screen. to the video magnifier screen.
4 Chapter C O N T R O L S Controls After having successfully connected and tested the video magnifier, we will now go into the controls and the operation of the video magnifier. Switching on/off Switching on 1. Press the button to switch on the screen. (1) 2. Press the button at the left side of the interface to switch on the video magnifier. (2) 2 Switching off 1. C O N T R O L S Slide table The slide table is made of high-grade materials and can display a whole A3 size sheet. 2 brakes stop the slide table from moving horizontally and vertically. The brakes can be enabled and disabled. 1/4 1/4 Control panel This part deals with the control panel for the video magnifier. The illustrations can be found in the middle of this manual. Zoom in/zoom out Zoom in: Turn central turning knob 1 to the right. Zoom out: Turn central turning knob 1 to the left.
C O N T R O L S Positive reading Press button 4 to activate positive mode. (Positive: White background and black letters) Quartz HD and Silver (option): By pressing button 4 once more, background colours will change. White – Red – Green – Blue –Cyan –Yellow – Magenta –Blue/Yellow –White -… Factory settings Press button five to go to factory settings. Help (voice buttons, helpt texts) Press button 6 to switch between the various help functions.
C O N T R O L S Press turning knob 13 to activate the reading line. You can set the position (higher/lower) by turning. You can select the line colour by turning and pressing. Press turning knob 13 once more to activate the reading bar. You can set the position (higher/lower) by turning. You can adjust the width of the bar with pressing and turning. Press turning knob 13 once more to deactivate the readhelp. Usage tips Reading Reading is best done in positive or negative mode.
C O N T R O L S Video magnifier - computer Switching between video magnifier and computer The video magnifier screen can be used as a computer screen. There are two options: Connect your computer to the screen. You can use the screen to switch to another input that will allow you to use your computer. If video magnifier and computer are both plugged into the HDMI input of the screen, you can easily switch between them by keeping the big round central turning knob 1 pressed in.

The warranty covers materials and workmanship. This warranty includes transportation costs for the first year.
