8. Messages
Write Message
This menu allows you to send and receive text or
multimedia messages, as well as manage the messages
you have sent and received. In idle mode, press
L
to access the main menu. Then select Messages and
press
L
OK to create, edit and send your messages.
When writing messages, you can toggle between T9
input, multitap and numeric by pressing
#
.
SMS
SMS enables you to send text messages to the other
party, using Short Messaging Service (SMS). You can
use the SMS menu to send messages to another
handphone or a device that is capable of receiving
SMS. To compose and send an SMS, follow the steps
below:
1. Select Write Message > Text Message, enter your
text and press
L
to access the following
options:
2. Select Done, then press
L
to access the next
option:
Done Send the message.
Use Template Insert a preset message.
Insert Object Insert picture, animation and sound
to your message.
Format Text Set Text Style, Text Size (for English
text, numbers and symbols only),
text Alignment and the alignment of
New Paragraph.
This feature only works if the settings
are put in before the text is entered.

Number
Insert a number from the phone
book list.
Insert PHB
Name
Insert a name from the phone book
list.
Insert
Bookmark
Insert a bookmark from the list.
Input Method Select the input method.
Recently Used Send the message to the recipient to
whom you have sent the previous
message.
Save to Drafts Save the message as a draft so that
you can edit, complete and send
later on.
