18 Messages
Receive Mode
This menu allows you to set the reception of broadcast
messages. When On, you can receive broadcast
messages. When Off, you cannot receive broadcast
messages.
Languages
You can select All or Other languages to be in your
channel list. If you select Other languages, you need
to select the languages that will be included in your
list and press
L
Options to Select and Save.
Message Settings
This menu allows you to customize your SMS via the
following options:
SMS Center
Number
Allows you to save and edit the SMS
service center number of your home
network. If the service center
number is empty, you will not be
able to send any SMS.
Validity period Allows you to select the duration by
which your messages will be stored
in the service centre. You can select
among: 1 hour, 12 hours, 1 day, 1
week and Maximum. This is useful
when the recipient is not connected
to the network (and thus cannot
receive your message immediately).
This feature is subscription dependent.
Message Type Allows you to select the type of
message: Text, Fax, and Email.
Delivery Report When On, this option will notify
you via SMS whether your recipient
has received your SMS.
This feature is subscription
dependent.
Alert Period Allows you to select the the duration
you will receive the alert for the
incoming messages. You can select
among: Once, Every 2 Minutes, and
Off.
This feature is subscription dependent.
