5. Messages
SMS
This menu allows you to send text messages using
Short Messaging Service (SMS), as well as manage the
messages you have sent and received.
Write message
To compose and send an SMS, select Create Message
and press
L OK and start to write your message.
When you finish writing your message, press
L
Options access the next options:
Then you can enter the numbers of your contacts or
press
L Search to select your contacts from your
phonebook. Press
L OK to confirm.
When you send a message via the SMS network, your
phone may display Sent Successfully. This means the
message has been sent to the SMS center which you
have set in your SIM card. However, this does not
imply that the message has been sent to its destination.
Inbox
This menu allows you to read the SMS messages
which you have received. The messages are displayed
in a list. You can highlight a message and press
L OK
to read it. Then press
L Options to access the
following menu options:
Outbox
When you select to Send and Save a message, the sent
message will be stored in Outbox.
Send Send the message
Save Save the message in drafts folder.
Send and Save Send and save the message.
Language Select your preferred input
language.
Reply Reply to the sender.
Forward Forward the selected message.
Edit Edit the selected message.
Delete Delete a selected message.
Delete all Delete all messages in the Inbox.
Store Number Save the number of the sender.
