Reference Manual
Hold the calibration plate in front of the fixed lens (as
close as possible), and capture. In order to ensure correct
exposure you may have to open up a few f-stops or in a very
dark setup, put on more light directly onto the plate.
In the Capture One software you select the ‘calibration’
image and click on the “Generate…” button (the LCC tool is
located under the white balance tab).
Give the
calibration file
a name that
corresponds
to the lens
in use or the
set-up (e.g.
45mmDaylight)
Select the
calibration file:
“45mmDaylight” from the “Lens CC” drop-down list and set
a checkmark in the “Apply LCC for next Captures”.
If working with large format cameras with tilt and swing, you
would have to make a new calibration file if you change the tilt
and swing position.
When using LCC in combination with large format capture and
image stitching you must capture one calibration file per image
and make sure that you match the calibration file to the right
image prior to stitching.
