Sew
the
second
half
of
the
zipper
paralleL
the
same
distance
from
the
center
seam
as
the
first
half.
-
Stop
shortly
before
the
end
of
the
seam
and
leave
the
needle
in
the
material.
Raise
the
presser
foot
and
open
the
zipper.
—
You
will
now
be
able
to
complete
the
seam.
—
Press
the
left
front
seam
allowance
over
3/8
in (4
mm)
narrower
than
the
actual
seam
allowance.
—
Baste
the
zipper
under
the
overlapping
edge
so
that
the
teeth
are
still
visible.
—
Engage
the
zipper
foot
on
the
right
and
set
the
needle
to
the
required
position.
—
Stitch
close
to
the
edge
of
the
zipper
teeth.
—
Shortly
before
the
end
of
the
seam,
open
the
zipper
and
finish
sewing
the
seam.
—
Close
the
zipper
and
baste
the
overlap
evenly
onto
the
other
zipper
half.
Stitch
along
the
basted
seam.

seams
