Darning

elastic
stitch
is
especially
suitable

repairing
damaged
areas.
—
Sew
over
the
damaged
area
in
rows
until
it

well
covered.
Take
care
to
ensure
that
the
rows
overlap.
Sewing
on
patches
To
cover
larger
holes
well,
it
isnecessary
to
sew
a
new
piece
of
fabric
onto
the
damagt
area.

Baste
the
new
piece
of
fabric
onto
the
damaged
area
of
the
face
side
of
the
fabt
—
Sew
over
the
fabric
edges
with
the
elash
stitch.
—

cut
the
damaged
area
back
to
the
seam
from
the
reverse
side
of
the
fabric.
