are

sewn.

then

you

determine

the

amount

of

gather

by

the

amount

you

pull

on

the

elastic

thread.

After

sewing

you

can

still

change

the

amount

of

gather

by

pulling

both

elastic

threads.

Finally,

knot

the

threads

and

the

elastic.
