to raise the
needle
and
take-up

sewing
foot is raised
further
for
inserting
extra-thick
materials.
C
The
sewing
foot is lowered
for
sewing.
Thread
cutter
The thread
cutter
is an oblique
slot located
at the
back of the
presser bar.
Raise
the
sewing foot.
Pull the
work out
of the
machine
toward
the back.
Draw the
threads
into
the cutter
slot and
pulithem
downwards
to
cut them.
