Sewing
on
lace
1.
Raise
sewing
foot
and
set
needle
up.

Loosen
screw

adjust
guide

in
such
a
way
that
during
sewing
the
needle
penetrates
as
close
to
the
edge
of
the
lace
(and
the
fabric
underneath>
as
possible.
Tighten
screw

For
sewing
the
lace
on
the
fabric,
simply
run
it
through
guide
2
along
edge
guide
1 (engage
upper
knife>.

If
the
underlying
fabric
is
not
to
be
trimmed
during
lace
attaching,
both
the
lace
and
the
fabric
must
be
gui
ded
flush
along
edge
guide
1
(not
illustrated).
5.
Sew
a
test
seam.
