Changing
the
upper knife
Pull
out
the
mains
plug
Disengage
the
upper
knife,
see
page
33.
Take
out
upper
knife
retaining
screw
44
and
remove
the
knife.
Insert
the
new
upper
knife
and
tighten
its
retaining
screw 44
just
a
little.
Set
the
upper knife
at its
working
posi
tion.
Turn
the
hand
wheel
unti
the
upper
knife
has
reached
its
lowest point.
In
this
position,
the
front
edge
of
the
upper
knife
must
be
0.5
to
1.0
mm
lower
than
the
cutting
edge of
the
lower
knife.
After
accurately
adjusting
the
upper knife,
fully
tighten
its
retai
ning
screw.
