Changing

Pull
out the
mains
plug
Disengage
the
upper
knife
(see
page
33).
Take
out
retaining
screws

of
lower
knife
29.
Set
seamwidth
adjusting
knob
35
at
2,5
(smallest
seam
width).
Inserting
the
lower
knife
Push
the
new
lower
knife
from
below
into
the
groove
of
the
knife
holder.
The
cutting
edge
must
face
right.
Tighten
retaining
screw
30
together
with
the
pressure
plate.
Position
the
cutting
edge
of
the lower
knife so
that
it
is
flush
with
the
surface
of
the
needle
plate.
Before
tightening
the
retaining
screw
of
the
pressure
plate,
position
the
lat
ter.
Turn the
upper
knife
back
to
its
working
position.
Set
the
required
seam
width
on
seam
width
adjusting
knob 35.
