Setting
the
standard
thread
tension
Optimum
seam
appearance
depends
on
the
type
of
fabric
used
and
on
the
thread
size.
The
correct
tension is
set
after
checking
the
thread
interloop
see
pages
20
to
24).
Set

on
the
thread
tension
thumbwheels
at
the
corresponding
colour
symbol.
If
needle
A (only
for
chainstitch)
is in
use,
,,N”
must
be
set
at the
blue
triangular
symbol.
The
mauve
tension
setting
is
only
used
for
chainstitch
(triangular
symbol).
