thick

fabrics

are

to

be

sewn,

set

the

thumbwheel

For

very

thin

fabrics

set

the

thumbw

heel

at

Upper

knife

lock

Sewing

very

thick

fabrics

in

different

ply

thicknesses:

This

machine

can

sew

all

kinds

of

fabric

from

very

light

to

very

heavy.

For

extremely

heavy

fabrics,

or

work-

pieces

of

different

thickness,

the

screw

of

the

upper

knife

must

be

fully

tighte

ned

as

shown

in

the

illustration.

When

screw

36

is

tightened,

the

upper

knife

is

locked

axially.

Please

note:

To

sew

light

or

mediumheavy

fabrics,

loosen

screw

36

for

the

upper

knife

lock

by

about

two

turns,

so

that

the

upper

knife

can

move

in

the

axial

direction.
