After
threading,
a
sewing
test
should
be
made.
Raise
sewing
foot
lever
16,
as
shown
in
the
illustration.
Hold
the
thread
ends
with your
left
hand
while
turning
the
hand
wheel
with
your
right
hand
in
the
direction
indica
ted
by
the
arrow
on
the
wheel.
Hold
the
threads
taut
and
lay
them
back
under
sewing
foot

Make
sure
the
threads
interlock
correctly
during
sewing
(thread
chain).

the
test
