Adjusting
the
thread
tension
The
following
pages
contain
directions
for
setting
thread
tensions
for
all
programs.
Adjust
the
tension
by
turning
the
tensio
rnng
wheel
until
the
dot
marker
is
at
the
desired
setting.
The
settrngs
for
adjusting
thread
tension
are
recommendations,
Fabric
type,
yarn
quality
and
needle
gsuc’
will
influence
seam
results.
For
this reason
it
is
always
best
to
sew
a
test
seam
to
cnc
the
interlocking
of
threads.
It may
be
necessary
to
correct
the
thread
tension
settings.
Tip:
When
testrig,
it
is
a good
idea
to
use
thread
colours
corresponding
to
the
indivi
dual
thread
tensions,
e.g.
thread the
right
overedge
looper
with
red
yarn,
the
left
ove
redge
looper
with
yellow
yarn. etc.

All

(needle
position,
stitch
length,
stitch
width,
etc.)

to
