Insert

foot

into
machine
socket

and
the
power
source
respectively.
Sewing
speed
is regulated
by
applying
pressure
to the
foot
control.
In
addition,
sewing
speed
can
be set
by
means
of
the
bed slide
adjuster
at the
top
end
of
the
foot
control.

Mains
switch
The
sewing
light
lights
up
when
mains
switch
28 is
switched
on.
The
machine
is now
ready
for
operation.
Connecting
the
foot
control
Notes
on
safety
This
appliance
has
a
polarized
plug
(one
blade
wider
than
the other).
To reduce
the
risk of
electric
shock,
this
plug
is intended to
fit in
a
polarized
out
let
only
one
way.
If
the
plug
does
not
fit
fully
in
the
outlet,
reverse
the
plug.
If it
still
does
not
fit,
contact
a
qualified
electrican
to
install
the proper
outlet.
Do
not
modify
the
plug in
any
way.
