a

zag
width
that
allows the
needle

enter
the
left
hole

the
button
when
the
hand
wheel

turned.
Sew
six
to
eight
zigzag
stitches.

stitch

D
and
sew a
number
of
securing
stitches
(1).
Sewing
on
buttons
with
stems
(for
large
buttons
in
heavy
materials).
Lower
the
needle
into
the
right
hole.
Place
a
match on
the
middle
of
the
button.
Lower
the
sewing
foot
(2).
Sew
a
number
of
zigzag
stitches
and
leave a
thread
end
of
about
6
inches.
Pull the
needle
and
bobbin
threads
through
(3).
Wrap
the
stem
(4)
and
tie
off
the
threads.
