Spool pins Your machine has two spool pins, a main spool pin and an auxiliary spool pin. The spool pins are designed for all types of thread. The main spool pin is adjustable and can be used both in a horizontal position (the thread reels off the spool) and a vertical position (the thread spool rotates). Use the horizontal position for normal threads and the vertical position for large spools or specialty threads. Embroidery settings Presser foot height Adjust the height of the presser foot in Embroidery stitch-out mode. Use the + and - icons to either raise or lower the height of the presser foot. Some embroideries may build up under the presser foot. If there is not enough space between the presser foot and the embroidery, the top thread will form loops on the underside of the embroidery. Increase the presser foot height in small steps until the embroidery moves freely under the presser foot.

Cleaning the machine To keep your sewing machine operating well, clean it often. No lubrication (oiling) is needed. Wipe the exterior surface of your machine with a soft cloth to remove any dust or lint built up. Note: Use of cleaners or solvents on the machine can cause damage to the plexifront.
